Jun 28, 2023 · I have been researching and making plans for a trip this fall, arrive SLC November 16 and depart November 24. We plan to drive to Zion the first day, with two nights booked at Zion NP Lodge. 11/18 one night in Bryce. Planning to do a few of the shorter (1-5 mile) hikes in Zion and Bryce. 11/19 and 11/20 are question marks. Just to clarify a couple of things. Zion doesn't close because of flash flooding, but the Narrows might. That is only one hike within Zion, there are many other trails you can hike that don't have any issues with flooding.
